Children's Ministry
FarmLand
FarmLand's mission is to partner with parents in nurturing your children (birth through kindergarten) with the love of Jesus Christ and to teach biblical truths in a loving, safe and fun environment on Sunday mornings from 8:30am to 12:00pm.
By the time your child is five years old we want them to know these three basic truths: God made everything, God loves everyone, and Jesus wants to be Lord and Savior. We believe that the parent is the primary faith trainer of the child and that it is never too early or too late to start training your child. God's intention is for the church and family to work together as a team.
TrainStation
TrainStation is a fun and engaging shared worship experience for children in 1st-5th grade and their parents.
9:45-10:00 - Parents sign in children with their small group leader. During this time children get focused on the mornings lesson. Parents then head to designated area where parents meet with Children's Director for coffee.
10:00-10:25 - Worship through music and skit with a message. This is a shared worship experience for parents and children.
10:25-10:45 - Children go to small groups to discuss message and how to apply it to their life. Parents stay with the Children's Director to discuss message and ideas on how to utilize ideas during the week with their children. Parents will receive God Time Cards which contain devotionals to use with their children for the week. This is a great time for parents to also get to know other parents. Children will be returned to their parents by their small group leaders.
Kid's Connection
An extended session for children 1st-4th grades that will be offered during the 11:00 worship service. Kid's Connection will reinforce for our children what they learned together with their parents in Trainstation. Children will be able to come and participate in Kid's Connection even if they have not attended Trainstation but we still encourage children and parents alike to join in the excitement of Trainstation together each week as well.
